Daddy: "Claire, do you go to work?"
Claire: "Yes"
Daddy: "Where do you work?"
Claire: "At Miss Jill's house."
Daddy: "What do you do there?"
Claire: "I drink milk and water and eat popcorn."
Claire using the potty at the first time at Jill's: "It's broken! It doesn't work here!"
Claire: "There are ghosts here!"
Mommy: "Ghosts? What do they do?"
Claire: "They TICKLE YOU!"
(we've had a LOT of conversations about ghosts and monsters lately)
Mommy: "Don't poke your sister, Claire."
Claire: "Mommy, I just poke her a little bit."
The next day...
Mommy: "Claire, don't poke your sister."
Claire: "I just poke her in the eye, Mommy."
Claire has learned to sing sing Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star on her own and she can sing a good bit of the Wonder Pets song. She is so sweet to her sister, telling MJ not cry and that it's okay when she does. Claire gives MJ toys and helps clean up her own toys. She loves to help me when I ask for it.
I'm just amazed at the little people my girls are becoming!
Mary Jane is sitting up, mostly on her own. She loves food. Her favorite is squash but she also eats carrots, green beans, peas, apple sauce, pears, sweet potatoes, and prunes. MJ has only gotten a few puffs into her mouth on her own but she really seems to love them. She doesn't seem at all interested in crawling but she scoots a bit. That's fine by me; mobility will add an entirely different level of chaos to my days with my girls!
